A Girl Like Me

I look at Rihanna and go, “Girl, c’mon, just let Chris Brown fall into a grave of his own design.” And yet, unfortunately, I totally get it.

This is an awesome read. I was pretty upset when I heard they were back together but ultimately the only people who know what’s going on between Rihanna and Chris Brown are themselves. Shaming Rihanna for “forgiving” him or whatever causes damage. There’s a reason why so many women feel like they can’t leave abusive situations and it’s because of this attitude that one MUST do THIS or ELSE. I hope I’m never in an abusive situation but until I am (or anyone else for that matter) I’ll never know what she is going through and I can’t hate her for doing what she’s doing. In the meantime I’ll just boycott Chris Brown’s music.
